What are the factors that affect high-end product components?
Author:
Machining has been applied in many areas, as the current mechanical manufacturing demands have decreased in terms of output, while the requirements for dimensions and shapes have gradually increased, leading to new development trends for high-quality components. Different turning methods are required when using lathes; however, processes such as grinding, cutting, and milling can be performed on a single lathe, indicating a clear trend towards integrated development.
During the tempering process of high-quality components, the stresses generated during quenching can be alleviated to some extent. The decomposition and transformation of martensite and residual austenite metastable structures occur after quenching. The tempering temperature for products is usually below the eutectoid transformation temperature, typically around 650°C, with a holding time of no less than 2 hours.
The manufacturing temperature of high-quality components can ensure good fluidity of the melt during the pouring process. When selecting the casting temperature, factors such as the pouring distance and the cooling conditions during the pouring process need to be considered.
When high-quality components are in operation, the geometric parameters of the cutting tools required for processing stainless steel should be considered in terms of the geometric shape of the cutting part of the tool, generally focusing on the selection of the front angle and back angle. The requirement for surface roughness of the cutting part of the tool is enhanced, and improving the surface finish of the cutting part can reduce the resistance when chips are formed and curled, thereby improving the tool's performance.
