Detailed machining has strict requirements for the shell-making environment and wind speed. For castings with slender holes, the interlayer drying time needs to be appropriately extended. High polymer additives can better help reduce defects in the shell mold and castings. The maintenance workload required during the preservation period of detailed machining is relatively small, which can adapt to high shear stress stirring, further shortening the interlayer drying time. However, they can shorten the interlayer drying time of such enhanced silica sol to 1 hour.
