Details of machining, forging, and casting.
Author:
In the process of adopting detailed mechanical processing, its mechanical properties are better than cast iron, but the cast iron performance of this material is relatively poor, and its melting point is higher than that of other materials. There are many issues to pay attention to during the processing, mainly because the fluidity of molten steel is relatively poor. To prevent insufficient pouring or cold laps during detailed mechanical processing, the wall thickness of the detailed mechanical processing should not be less than 8mm. The structural strength of its pouring system is relatively simple, and during use, the cross-sectional dimensions in the equipment should be larger than that of cast iron, so that during processing, its hot casting or dry casting can also be used.
The temperature determines the good fluidity of the melt during the pouring process. The temperature for detailed mechanical processing should be determined based on factors such as the pouring distance, cooling conditions during the pouring process, alloy, specifications, and flow rate. The processing temperature is 50 to 110°C higher than the liquidus temperature of the alloy. The production temperature can ensure that the melt has good fluidity during the pouring process. When selecting the casting temperature for the equipment, it is necessary to determine it based on factors such as the pouring distance and cooling conditions during the pouring process.
